Dogs:
No, dogs are not allowed to be brought in.

Tutoring:
Yes, I would THINK that Dana should be able to tutor. Our parents are always asking us for references. The Jamaican tutors really don't understand our sysyem so Dana should be in demand.

There is an arcade where kids can have fun similiar to Chucky Cheeses, Mini Golf, lots of restaurants, movie theatres, Jamaican plays (which are absolutely hilarious, but you may have a hard time understanding until you get accustomed to patois). Unfortunately there are no bowling alleys and activities are quite limited. The school tends to arrange outings for the staff quite often though (trips to the beach, out into the country). There's always the mountains to explore and picnic.

I happened to see a small Cuisinart Blender/Food Processor for the equivalent of US$125. For comparison's sake, it was model BFP-703, with a 3-cup food processor and 40-oz blender, 500W motor.

Looking quickly online, it looks like it retails in the US for about $80.

That's probably a pretty typical markup for small electronics/appliances here.
Jamaica has excellent chinese food as well. In the mornings we go out and buy patties for breakfast/snack. But you can also order lunch and have it delivered, every morning we get an email with a menu and it's...ok...not the best, we prefer to go out and buy but when we're lazy it will suffice.
